Learn how Cardioline devices can improve clinical workflow through a connected ECG solution.

Learn how Cardioline devices can improve clinical workflow through a connected ECG solution.

The traditional workflow in a cardiology clinic can be linear, tedious & inefficient. We can view this dynamic from both a patients' and clinicians' point-of-view.

Patients' experience of an ECG session
Clinicians' experience of an ECG session
Book an appointment with the receptionist at the Cardiology Clinic.
Arrive at the appointment prior to the booking time.

Be admitted to the ECG operators room.

Wait for patient files to be loaded.

Undergo ECG process.

Additional doctors consultation.

Book future appointments.

Receive work-order.

Retrieve and analyze patient records.

Determine the appropriate test for the patients' session.

Conduct the ECG test.

Print out and interpret the ECG test results.

Send the physical test results to the doctor for further analysis.

The doctor sends test results to reception to be added into the patient management system (PMS).

Reception or clinician manually types in diagnosis and descriptors to be added to the PMS.

Repeat process for several patients.

Wouldn't it be helpful if these processes could be streamlined or simplified? Perhaps they can.

Think Connected, Think Cardioline.

In both the patient and clinician scenarios, there are elements that can be modified in order to simplify the ECG process. It's easy to see how a clinician can be bogged down by report printing, diagnosis & data entry.

Not only are Cardioline devices easy to learn and easy to use, but they also have the ability to connect with the clinics patient management system through Wi-Fi, Local Area Network cable connections and even in-built cellular 3G. At only a touch of the button - patient test results can be sent to the PMS.

Stay connected: With this connected solution, patient test results can be saved directly to a Windows or Android device via the network & PMS. This means an electronic pdf copy can be accessed by approved clinicians on the network.

Save Time: The link feature can help reduce the time needed to transfer physical documents from person to person by providing an electronic alternative. Time is valuable and with the Cardioline devices, less time can be spent on mundane tasks - and more on diagnosis, patient care and result analysis.

Save Paper: With the Cardioline integration with the patient management software, the e-files allow results to be printed on a regular printer. This means more savings and less need for the traditional Z-fold paper which can be expensive and must be purchased specifically for the ECG device.

Which models can be connected?

The Cardioline collection ranges from a portable hand-held device to the larger 100 & 200 models of the Cardioline ECG. All devices can be connected and even optioned with more features such as Glasgow University Interpretation and DICOM connectivity.

The TouchECG HD is the smallest device across our Cardioline range and functions at the same calibre as the other devices with an added benefit of mobility & portability.
