W&H Autoclave Service and Repairs

Stark Medical are proud to be distributing W&H autoclaves for medical practices across Australia. We would also like to offer servicing for all models of W&H autoclaves. Enquire for an autoclave service today by using the contacts at the bottom of this page. 

Autoclave Repairs

Starkmed offer an on-call service for W&H steam sterilisers. If you find your autoclave is not sterilising correctly or is showing an error code, you may decide to call us for inspection and repair. We have access to spare parts for all the latest models of W&H autoclave units, so any repair is possible to get your unit up and running again. 

Loan Units

StarkMed may be able to provide a loan unit to you at our discretion, depending on circumstances and availability. Typically repairs and performance verification will take 1-2 hours, however, if a repair is forecasted to take longer than expected, you may wish to request a loan unit so that your practice can continue operating while we repair your unit.

    Autoclave Validation

    Starkmed provide a validation service for your W&H autoclave steam steriliser. Validation is a mandatory process described by Australian standard (AS/NZS 4815) that should be undertaken upon installation and then at least once every year on your steriliser. This process is a legal obligation to ensure that your steriliser is working correctly and removes the risk of cross contaminant diseases being passed to your patients.

    • Temperature and pressure mapping
    • Steam penetration verification
    • Biological indicators 
    • Incubation of biological indicators
    • Qualification reports in line with (AS/NZS 4815:2006)
    • Validation certificate for your facility

    Installation Service

    Starkmed also provide an installation and commissioning service. This includes removal of the old autoclave (if applicable) and installation of the new autoclave according to the manufacturer's specifications. If required, we can also connect your autoclave to a Reverse Osmosis System or W&H Multidem for automatic filling and draining of purified water. We will also provide training and instructions for use for all practice staff involved with sterilisation.
