The Spirobank II Plus is a pocket spirometer with an optional oximetry function. It is intended to test lung function and perform spirometry testing in patients older than three years.
The spirometer calculates up to 30 functional respiratory parameters and supports comparison of data before and after administration of a drug for bronchodilator or bronchial challenge testing. It can also perform FVC testing.
Flow and volume are measured using a bi-directional digital turbine based on the infrared interruption principle. The device can operate in stand-alone mode or connect to a PC or printer using USB or Bluetooth.
