MiniSpir Plus is a spirometer intended to test lung function and perform spirometry testing in patients older than three years, under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
The device connects to a PC via USB and transfers measured data to the PC in real time for use with MIR Spiro software.
MiniSpir Plus can perform FVC, VC & IVC, MVV and breathing profile tests. It also supports comparison of respiratory parameters before and after administration of a drug for bronchodilator or bronchial challenge testing.
The device uses a bi-directional digital turbine with an infrared interruption measurement principle for flow and volume measurement.
