This is a needle-free split septum valve that allows the user to add medication into the primary line without the use of a needle.
FlowArt® Needle-free valve may be used up to 7 days and up to 600 activations provided that appropriate swabbing protocols of the seal are fully implemented. Luer-slip connectors used with the FlowArt® Needle-Free Valve must comply with 80369-7.
FlowArt® Needle-free valve can withstand clinical situations where high-flow infusions up to 10 mL/sec flow rate at 400 psi pressure are indicated.
